FAU Professor Awarded Best Paper at IEEE Conference

Professor Mihaela Cardei, Ph.D. and computer engineering doctorate student Yueshi Wu, in the Florida Atlantic University department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science were awarded the “Best Paper” at the 10th International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) MSN2014 for their paper titled “Robust Topology using Reconfigurable Radios in Wireless Sensor Networks”. Papers are evaluated on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. The best paper award recognizes distinguished research.

MSN 2014 provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange research results and share development experiences in the field of mobile adhoc and sensor networks. The conference was held on December 19 to 21, 2014 in Maui, Hawaii. The event was co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society.
