Dr. Khaled Sobhan received the Distinguished Engineering Educator’s Award

Dr. Khaled Sobhan received the Distinguished  Engineering Educator’s Award at the Palm Beach County National Engineers Week Honors & Awards Event, hosted by the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.  

Dr. Sobhan joined FAU in 2003 and he served as the first Graduate Programs coordinator in the newly formed Civil Engineering Department, managing the admissions process, registration, progress monitoring and graduation certification for the Master’s students.  Also, his  area of research expertise is Geotechnical Engineering, Foundations, and Sustainable Materials for Infrastructure.
