FAU Showcased Neuroscience Excellence at Society for Neuroscience Meeting
More than 20 Florida Atlantic-affiliated scientists presented their research last month at the annual Society for Neuroscience in San Diego, an event that drew more than 21,000 attendees from 73 countries.
FAU seized the moment and presented an exhibit showcasing the university’s neuroscience research, graduate programs and early-career career training opportunities. The exhibit also highlighted Florida Atlantic’s John D. MacArthur Campus in Jupiter – home to the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute (SNBI), Charles E. Schmidt College of Science research labs, and partners Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience, The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation and Technology, and Zeiss.
FAU is an unparalleled, world-class hub for neuroscience and biomedical research opportunities happening across multiple campuses and in partnership with renowned research institutes, according to Randy D. Blakely, executive director, SNBI.
