Comparative Studies Ph.D. Candidate Recent Appointment and Presentation

Jose Luis Jimenez-Figarotti, who is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Comparative Studies Program with a committee of two sociologists and one anthropologist, was appointed to the Advisory Council of the State University of New York Collaborative Online International Learning Center in November. He now serves as the representative for the Latin American region for SUNY’s virtual exchange program. In addition, he presented one of his dissertation chapters at the International Virtual Exchange Conference in Greece in 2025. Congrats to Jose Luis for all of his accomplishments this year!
