Under the supervision of Dr. Jean Martin Caldieron, Associate Professor at FAU School of Architecture, two of his Topical Design Studio students won at the NomadHouse, Future Housing and Workspace Design Competition. The students are: Collin Pierce, received the second place prize, and Christine Sader won the editor’s choice award. Collin Pierce’s project, Micro-Tower represents compact radial formations that illustrate both a hybrid-form/ function to minimize the building footprint on the ground plane by using both High Density and Low-Density Micro- Towers. Christine Sader’s project, RUKO, is a hybrid tower that explores the concept of an Asian neighborhood of shop houses and their programmatic uses and social experiences in a high rise.

Congratulations to our FAU architecture students, Collin Pierce and Christine Sader, and to Dr. Jean Martin Caldieron.
