Admissions Process for National Merit Scholars

The college admissions process can be overwhelming not only for students, but for families as well. We want to do everything we can to make your Florida Atlantic University application process as easy, as fun, and really---as memorable as it should be! This is exactly why we've simplified the admission process for you to become a future Owl to three simple steps.

1. Submit your completed admissions application to FAU.
2. Complete the admission process by submitting your Self-Reported Student Academic Record rather than sending your high school transcript.
3. Send your SAT or ACT test scores to FAU either through your application status portal or have your official scores sent from the SAT and/or the ACT testing agency.

Visiting Campus

"What's it like to be on campus?" is one of the most common questions asked from prospective students and their family and friends across the globe when searching for the perfect college fit---and FAU is no different!

Accordingly, here at FAU, we have multiple options for visiting our beautiful campuses as that is the BEST way to answer that question. With your National Merit Scholar designation, we would very much value the opportunity to see you on campus. If the desired date you are seeking is full, please send us an email with your desired date and time, along with how many will be in your party at least 48 hours in advance , and we will do our best to accommodate you and your family. While you are here, let us know if you would like to sit in on a class, interact with faculty and/or current students, meet financial aid staff, and/or connect with the Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry (OURI). Or, just simply let us who you would like to see and meet while you're here, and we will do our best to make that happen.
