WLW-ECOS HBOI Field Trips

FAU’s School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability (ECOS) is excited to invite full-time, degree-seeking freshmen and sophomores from the College of Science to an exclusive field trip to Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute (HBOI). 

We have scheduled two upcoming trips for Spring 2026: 

• Saturday, March 21 
• Saturday, March 28 

This experience will give students an inside look at the groundbreaking marine science happening at HBOI. It’s an incredible opportunity to explore, learn, and connect with ocean research in action. 

Trip Highlights 

• Round-trip bus transportation provided from the FAU Boca Raton campus 

• Boxed lunch included 

• Guided tram tour of the HBOI campus 

• Pontoon boat trip on the beautiful Indian River Lagoon
