Digital History Lab 

 The Digital History Lab in the Wallach Building will provide students with hands-on experience using the latest digital methods – such as mapping, oral history, coding, and AI tools as appropriate – to research, interpret, and create history projects for broader public audiences. Through workshops in cutting-edge technologies and project-based learning, the lab will equip students with transferable skills in historical research, digital literacy, community engagement, and project management. The lab will host courses from the History Department and the Museums, Archives, and Public History Minor and Concentration, including The Digital Past, Oral History, Introduction to Public History, and cover topics in museum studies, geography, communication, visual arts, graphic design, anthropology, and computer science.
