Artists in the Exhibition: Natalie Frank, Katy Grannan, Elisa Johns, Hilary Harkness, Marina Kappos, Loretta Lux, Robyn O'Neil,Chloe Piene, Dasha Shishkin, Anj Smith, Mickalene Thomas, Su-en Wong


An exhibition featuring figurative paintings, drawings and photographs by several internationally recognized artists including Hilary Harkness, Natalie Frank, Anj Smith, Mickalene Thomas and others. The selected artists employ human figuration in a wide variety of styles and sensibilities to present intriguing factual and imagined narratives and psychologies. One or more of the exhibiting artists will present public lectures during the exhibition. The exhibition and programs are presented in association with the Department of Visual Arts and Art History and the Center for Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. An exhibition catalogue will accompany the exhibition.
