Robert Sindorf began his work in sculpture at Columbia University in 1974, where he continued his studies and earned his Masters degree in architecture. Sindorf’s main focus is large, granite sculptures for public places, intending to be within an architectural framework or landscaped environment. “My work is simple, direct, and consists of universal and timeless themes. I would describe my style as minimal and abstract, as I endeavor to reduce an overall image to its most essential form.” - Sindorf
