Off the Page 3rd Annual Lawrence A. Sanders Literary Symposium with Tochi Eze and Allison Malecha

Held each year in honor of writer Lawrence A. Sanders, the symposium is an opportunity to take a closer look at the ins and outs of the publishing industry, furthering Sanders’ mission to help emerging writers get their work into the world.
Tochi Eze is a Nigerian fiction writer and scholar originally trained as a lawyer in Lagos and Enugu. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida Atlantic University and currently teaches English literature while completing her dissertation at the University of Virginia. This Kind of Trouble is her first novel.
Allison Malecha is a literary agent and director of foreign rights at Trellis Literary Management. Previously she spent several years at Bettina Schrewe Literary Scouting, where she worked with major publishing clients in more than 20 markets across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
