MFA Alum Brittany Ackerman Leads Crafting Form Workshop on Saturday, 4/30

MFA alum Brittany Ackerman will lead a Crafting Form workshop on Saturday, April 30th.

According to the Write or Die Tribe website:

In this one-day 2 hour workshop, writers will explore specific craft topics such as voice, dialogue, narrative, use of compelling details, and more. As a group, we will dive into these topics via writing prompts that aim to distill form in hopes that writers will find freedom within the boundaries of structure.
Whether writers are working toward a novel, a memoir, a first draft, or hundredth draft—together, we will create a safe and collaborative environment to play and experiment with form. This also may come to mean breaking the rules of form altogether, which is highly encouraged. When we learn how to play with crafting form, we are following our creative impulse to create our most powerful selves on the page.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 10am to 12pm. Read more and register at Crafting Form Workshop with Brittany Ackerman on the Write or Die Tribe website.
