“Applying to Ph.D. Programs”—In this comprehensive tour of the Ph.D. application process, Drs. Stacey Balkan & David Medina will discuss such fundamental criteria as the writing sample, personal statement, and the retrieval of letters of recommendation. They will also speak frankly about their own experiences and the many questions—from geography to discipline—that may be less intuitive.
