Hirbod Human Receives Emerging Scholar Award

Hirbod Human, a student in the Comparative Studies PhD program at Florida Atlantic University, has been selected as a recipient of the Emerging Scholar Award for the Twentieth International Conference on Design Principles and Practices, which will take place at Sapienza University of Rome in February 2026. In addition to serving as a session chair, he will present his research titled
“Should Design Move from a Discipline of Form to a Discipline of Experience Applying Somaesthetics as a Framework for Embodied Design Practice.”
