Research Description

I’m a plant population ecologist and conservation biologist. My lab group addresses fundamental questions about how environmental variability and change shapes life history strategies and the consequences of those strategies for population and community dynamics. We employ a mix of long-term field observations, experiments conducted in natural and controlled settings, and modeling approaches. We usually use plants as study organisms because they are easy to catch, but we also love and employ reptiles.
