The Schmidt College of Science Computational and Data Science Initiative leverages the transdisciplinary efforts of a vibrant and growing community of FAU scholar-educators to meet the opportunities and challenges posed by the scientific data revolution. This group of faculty and students spans multiple FAU departments, centers, institutes, and colleges, who align for stronger education and research efforts and opportunities related to data science, cryptography and information security, neuroscience, complex systems, and computational science.
