The FAU University Safety Committee was re-established in 2020 with a new charter.
Vision Statement
The FAU University Safety Committee strives to create a campus culture where members of the FAU community care for the wellbeing of one another and where people feel safe to work, learn, and grow.
Mission Statement
The FAU University Safety Committee will champion the development of a strong safety culture at FAU through:
- Forging relationships within the FAU community
- Developing initiatives that are meaningful to staff, faculty, and students
- Engaging the FAU community in solutions to challenges
- Creating sustainable change
- Eliminating impediments to improvements, where possible
