The Post-Pandemic Online Classroom; Hacks & Snacks w/ Instructor Nico Cassanetti-Cella

Teacher Hacks and Snacks Presents
The Post-Pandemic Online Classroom
or, How I Avoid Spiraling into Self-Doubt and Panic While Teaching Asynchronously
Presented by Nico Cassanetti-Cella
Friday September 23 | 11:00am | Zoom

It’s been over two years since we all took up the task of trying to effectively teach our classes online. And, as we seem to have reached the endemic of Covid-19, many of us have strong opinions about our own abilities and desires to teach in the virtual classroom—especially when discussing gen ed or “required courses” like College Composition and Interpretation classes.

Join us as Nico shares some of the tips and tools she’s found most effective in teaching her asynchronous ENC and LIT courses, as well as ways to deal with feelings of isolation and disconnection from her students in the virtual classroom. For those who currently teach online, or plan to in the future, Nico would like to make part of this Hacks n Snacks collaborative and she hopes that you will come with questions and tips of your own to share so we can use the time to help one another.
