Scholarship and financial aid Awards

Congratulations on your academic achievements! National Merit Scholarships are awarded to students who have been designated as Finalists by the National Merit Corporation. National Merit Scholarship recipients who are Florida Residents are eligible for the Benacquisto Scholarship Program, which awards a National Merit Finalist up to the cost of attendance.

While out of state students are unable to be considered for the Benacquisto Scholarship Program, they will receive competitive FAU scholarship packages. We encourage out of state students and their families to explore outside scholarships as well as national programs designed for high achieving students.

Scholars are eligible for awarded scholarships for 8 semesters, or until graduation from your Bachelor's degree at FAU, whichever comes first. Please see our page regarding renewal requirements and appeals.

For all scholarship, tuition, and financial aid related questions, we are pleased to work with the FAU Financial Aid Office. You may direct all questions to them regarding your aid, financial aid policies and procedures, and any extenuating circumstances that you may have in regards to your financial aid package at FAU.
