Spring Weeks of Welcome

The Spring 2017 Weeks of Welcome is coming soon. The programs offered introduce students to our campus community, increase awareness of the university’s array of resources, and most importantly they give students a chance to make new friends. Visit the Weeks of Welcome website to view the events.


MLK

2017 MLK Diversity Address

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an activist and leader during the Civil Rights Movement. He left behind a legacy of non-violent peaceful protesting. Due to the efforts of the brave Dr. King there was an advancement in the rights of African-Americans in the United States of America. The Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs will be hosting the 2017 MLK Diversity Address featuring key note speaker Jeffery Shaun King.

Inauguration

Inauguration Watch Party

On Inauguration Day the United States welcomes our 45th President, Donald Trump to office. Student Government along with Lead & Serve will be hosting a watch party at The Burrow Bar and Grill on the Boca Raton Campus. Friday, Jan. 20, 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Jupiter campus Student Life will also be hosting a watch party in The Burrow starting at 9 a.m. for the pre-inauguration coverage and the inauguration from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Broward campus Student Life will also be hosting a inauguration watch party from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Davie Student Union.
