The Academic Initiatives & Assessment team assists in developing and implementing a plan for assessment in the Division of Student Affairs that is consistent with the profession’s CAS standards, the University Strategic Plan, and the University’s annual Assessment Reporting Database. The team will identify divisional learning outcomes, offer workshops and coaching sessions, and showcase assessment best practices throughout the Division.
The Division of Student Affairs held its first Assessment Showcase in the spring 2018 semester with over 100 staff and students in attendance.
The Upward Bound program participants served over 2,400 families over the 2017 holidays through community service projects.
Owl Radio and the Program Board promoted the 2017 Homecoming OWL Fest Concert attended by over 3,000 students.
Student Health Services engaged over 7,000 in the first half of the 2016-17 academic year.
The Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs trained over 750 individuals in the 2017 fall semester.
