Public Health AdvisoryIn an effort to keep the University community safe and aware about the status of the Zika virus, this is an update on the Governor of Florida public health emergency for the Zika virus. Zika illness is caused by a mosquito-borne vector similar to those that cause Dengue, West Nile and other infections. People can also get Zika through sex with an infected man and the virus can also be passed from a pregnant woman to her fetus.

Breezeway Renovation ProjectA major renovation of the Breezeway is scheduled to start construction on June 20, 2016. In preparation of this work, temporary fencing has been erected to provide safe access along the Breezeway and to all the adjacent buildings for the duration of the project. The scope of work includes concrete repairs and waterproofing of the original 1961 structure, roof replacement, restroom refurbishment, and LED lighting level enhancements.
