Dr. Justina McAllister-Jackson is an Instructor of Social Work at Florida Atlantic University and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with licensure in multiple states. She brings experience across higher education, clinical practice, school social work, program management, and community-based services. Dr. McAllister-Jackson earned her Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University, Master of Social Work from Florida A&M University, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University. Her professional and scholarly interests include school social work, clinical social work practice, behavioral health, culturally responsive practice, and the preparation and development of future social work professionals. She brings an applied, student-centered approach to teaching that connects social work theory and evidence-informed practice with real-world professional experiences.
