Elwood R. Hamlin, II, earned his MSW from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and his Ph.D. from Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. He also served 27 years on active duty as an Army social work officer and is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Hamlin’s professional interests and publications are in the areas of domestic violence, military social work, healthcare, as well as social work education and practice. He also served on the editorial board for the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma.
