Students Host College Prep Event for High School Students

Social Work students Shanel Robles and Eriana Teague, who placed in the recent Florida Blue Community Social Impact Competition, held their first community event funded with their prize winnings. Called the “Pathway to Success,” the March event helped 20 Boynton Beach high schoolers prepare for life after graduation with seminars on the college admissions process, choosing a major, refining their resumes, securing financial aid, and navigating college life as a first-generation student.
