New Research Assesses ‘Challenge Within Challenges’
A new study, co-authored by Marianna L. Colvin, PhD, associate professor in the Phyllis and Harvey Sandler School of Social Work, dean’s fellow for research and academic effectiveness, and director of the Child Welfare Institute, and Daniel J. Gibbs, PhD, of the University of Georgia, has been published in the Journal of Public Child Welfare. Their article, “The challenge within challenges: a common thread of instability in interorganizational child welfare practice,” illustrates the need for innovations in child welfare to anticipate and embrace instability to better equip organizations to navigate their networked environment.
