Dean Luna Dished About College Initiatives with Owl Alumni

Naelys Luna, PhD, MSW, founding dean and professor of the College of Social Work and Criminal Justice, was invited by the FAU Alumni Association to be the featured guest and speaker at their most recent 'Florida Atlantic Foodies' event. She spoke about the wide-ranging career paths pursued by graduates of our college, the deeply felt impact of social work and criminal justice professionals in our communities, and ways to get involved immediately and meaningfully with the college.

The event was held at Prezzo in Palm Beach Gardens. As with each 'foodie' event, guests enjoyed connecting with fellow alums during a delicious multi-course dinner guided by the restaurant's chef and seasoned with an enlightening presentation by the guest speaker. A special shout-out to Sherry Bees, Katie Burke, PhD, and the entire Alumni Affairs team for hosting a wonderful evening!
