Criminology & Criminal Justice Faculty Receive Certification Credentials

The recent Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) Faculty Certification Ceremony celebrated Florida Atlantic faculty who earned their credentials in 2024. Shawn Backer and Pat McLaughlin, both instructors in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, were recognized for completing their ACUE Certificates, while Sigal Rubin and Ricky Langlois, both senior instructors, received the Advanced Certificate. Supported by Ryan Meldrum, PhD, school director and professor, and Naelys Luna, PhD, MSW, founding dean and social work professor, the ceremony highlighted our faculty's dedication to teaching excellence and their commitment to enhancing student success through evidence-based strategies.
