Eric McNamee Supported by Colleagues at Annual Fundraiser

The HERD Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Delray Beach, FL, is dedicated to providing equine-assisted services that empower individuals through meaningful connections. Sandler School of Social Work (SSW) alumna Erin McNamee, DSW (c/o ‘20), LCSW, serves as President of the HERD Foundation's Board of Directors. She has been instrumental in guiding the organization's programs and outreach efforts since its inception.

Dr. McNamee was recently joined by Joy McClellan, DSW, MSW, university instructor in the SSW, Rebecca Marcus Wheeler, DSW, LCSW, MCAP, instructor in the SSW, and Kristie Slinskey, DSW, LCSW, adjunct faculty in the SSW, for the HERD Foundation’s annual fundraiser held at Tara Farm in Delray Beach. Funds raised support the foundation’s programs for veterans, youth, and families through equine-assisted learning. Through the dedicated leadership of individuals like Dr. McNamee, the HERD Foundation continues to significantly impact the lives of those they serve, fostering healing and personal growth through the power of connection with horses.
