Sandra Jakubow

Sandra holds a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University, where she was a first-generation college student. She joined the advising staff in the College of Social Work and Criminal Justice after working at FAU for 18 years in Alumni and Community Engagement, The Mentoring Project and The Career Center.

Before rejoining FAU, Sandra worked at Palm Beach State College in Student Development/Advising. She advised students in choosing a career pathway and transfer institution.

Sandra advises the SOAR in 4 students as well as Criminal Justice and Social Work majors. She is passionate about helping students navigate their academic journey and achieve their career goals.

Keva Anderson-Konsker

Keva holds a Masters of Arts in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University. She joined the advising staff in College of Social Work and Criminal Justice after serving 16 years in FAU’s Student-Athlete Center for Academic Excellence. She also holds bachelor degrees in Sociology and Management, in addition to certificate in Ethnic Studies.

As the retention advisor, Keva meets with students who are at-risk of being suspended or dismissed from the University. If you are on probation, suspended or have been dismissed from the University, please call her office directly to make an appointment. 


Gina Cinotti

Dr. Gina Cinotti is a seasoned educational leader with over 27 years of experience in New Jersey’s public school system, including 10 years in executive leadership as both Superintendent and Principal—a rare dual role that gave her firsthand insight into district-wide operations and daily school management. Her career also includes 7 years supervising guidance and counseling services across five schools in a K–12 district, blending strategic oversight with deep student-centered support.

Dr. Cinotti holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and an M.A. in Education/Student Personnel Services from Seton Hall University, as well as a B.S. in Mathematics/Secondary Education from the State University of New York at Cortland. Her academic foundation complements her practical expertise in policy, compliance, and organizational systems.


Fabio Rojas

Fabio Leon Rojas Valencia was born in Colombia S.A. arriving in the United States as a teenager. Having learned a new language (English) he graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Sociology with emphasis/concentrations in Education & Media. Soon after graduating out of a sense of duty he joins the USA Army-National Guard where he served for 12 years rising to Squad Leader and the rank of Sergeant. Fabio completed all coursework in the Master’s of Higher Education Administration at Barry University (Comps. Pending). His career experience spans from working with State and Private institutions of higher education as an Admissions Officer, Assistant Registrar, Career Counseling and for most of his tenure what he feels is in his-calling Academic Support Services. Most recent at FAU as Coordinator of Academic Programs/Academic Advisor. Fabio also worked as an Adjunct-instructor at Miami-Dade College. He is currently the Lead Advisor for the BSW Program, served as former advisor to the Soar-in-4 Scholars Program, and is the Student Organization-Newman Club Advisor. Fabio is bilingual (fluent in English & Spanish), and he also serves in several committees throughout Florida Atlantic University.

Fabio’s primary goal is to assist you to navigate through your major and successfully complete your Bachelor’s degree.

Sierra holds a Master of Arts in College Student Personal (CSP) from Ohio University. Sierra also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Educational studies with a minor in Special Education from Kent State University.  Sierra is a first-generation college student and is very passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals, career aspirations, and dreams.
 
In her free time, you can normally find Sierra on adventures to Florida’s natural springs, at the beach, or at any of the local coffee shops in the area.
