NOAA Career Opportunities and Networking Panel

This month, the FAU Marine Lab hosted eight members of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for a career opportunities and networking panel event. During the panel, participants talked to undergraduate and graduate students about a variety of topics including:

  • What does NOAA do?
  • Where is NOAA located across the US?
  • Cutting edge fields and technologies, and
  • The wide range of careers NOAA has to offer

Presenters ranged from fisheries biologists working in the Office of Protected Resources to the Academic Program Coordinator. All offered perspectives on their path to their NOAA careers, as well as current opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students such as scholarships, fellowships, and internships. If you missed the panel and are interested in any of the topics listed, feel free to contact Jonathan Molineaux at  jonathan.molineaux@noaa.gov.
