AMA Physicians of Tomorrow Award
Ugoma Onubogu, M4 and Ph.D., has been honored with the prestigious 2025 American Medical Association’s Physicians of Tomorrow Award—one of the most competitive national scholarships awarded to a select group of medical students each year.
Recognized for her academic excellence, research, volunteerism, and leadership, Ugoma was nominated by Mario Jacomino, M.D., for her outstanding contributions to medicine and community service. An MD/PhD student at the College of Medicine, she is currently completing her final year of medical training.
