Step Up as a MedOwls Reunion Champion

Every Reunion Weekend is about celebrating all MedOwls alumni — and Champions make that celebration come alive.

What is a Champion?

Champions are milestone-year alumni (this year, Class of 2016 and Class of 2021) who help bring classmates together, share stories, and serve as welcoming faces throughout the weekend. They aren’t planners behind the scenes — they are the heart of the celebration, rallying their peers and representing their class in a visible way.

What Champions Do:

  • Reach out to classmates to encourage them to attend.
  • Share a short story, memory, or photo for Reunion spotlights.
  • Join 2–3 light touchpoints with the Alumni Office leading up to the weekend.
  • Be recognized during events, including the Distinguished MedOwls Awards Ceremony.
  • Serve as connectors — helping classmates, students, and faculty feel part of the MedOwls family.

Why It Matters:
Champions are a key part of making Reunion Weekend meaningful. By stepping up, you help ensure your class is celebrated, your classmates feel connected, and the tradition of honoring MedOwls milestones continues year after year.

It's a light commitment — just a few hours before March plus being present as a connector during the weekend — but it makes a big impact.
