Broward Campuses Vehicle Request

FAU vehicle
  • Vehicles have to be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Users are responsible to return the vehicle in the same condition as received.
  • All the vehicles are based on the Davie Campus.
  • All vehicles have to be picked up, and dropped off, at the Davie Campus.
  • No smoking permitted in the vehicle.
  • Vehicles are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Users have to pick up the keys from the mailroom.
  • First time state vehicle users must complete the Driver Information Form

  • Defensive Driver Training: All drivers of FAU-owned vehicles are required to complete Defensive Driver Training. This course helps improve safe driving habits and ensures compliance with the State of Florida’s Division of Risk Management guidelines. To sign up for the training, e-mail ehs-training@fau.edu and include your name and FAU email address. Course is approximately 20 minutes, online at Percipio (link coming soon). 

    A copy of the Certificate of Completion must be provided to the mailroom prior to picking up the keys to the vehicle. 

Remember to use your seat belt and to drive safely.

I understand that the assigned vehicle will be used for the purpose(s) requested. I agree use will conform to the rules of FAU and State of Florida Laws. I also acknowledge the cost per mile is $0.445 per mile as shown on the cars odometer and that the release of any vehicle must be accompanied by this form.
