The Art of Coding Robots

This photograph captures the final learning experience with a third-grade class that involved the artwork of a star created by the student and coding the Dash robot. (Researchers) visited The Foundations School in West Palm Beach, Fla., to implement STEAM lessons with third grade students. This mixed methods research project was in collaboration with (researchers from the) Center for Creative Education, and a doctoral research assistant that focused on the knowledge, identity and attitudes of at-risk third grade students before and after STEAM lessons.
