Research Cores are a Valuable Resource:
- For new PIs with limited funding
- To access specialized technical knowledge
- To reduce duplication of expensive equipment purchases
- To help recover funds for replacement of obsolete or broken-down equipment
- To strengthen grant applications by offering techniques and resources not normally available in a PI’s laboratory.
