Video-Based Walking Analysis for Alzheimer’s Detection

Would you like to participate in a research study to develop an early-warning screening tool for Alzheimer’s Disease?

The goal of this study is to develop a camera-based system that can detect early signs of Alzheimer’s disease by analyzing how people walk. As part of this research, your walking patterns will be video recorded to help us measure movement features such as walking speed, balance, and step patterns.

We are looking for individuals:
  • age 21 or older
  • healthy with no cognitive impairment
  • mild cognitive impairment
  • subjective memory complaints
  • mild memory problems
  • or mild Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias
You will receive $30 Amazon gift card for completing this single-session study, which lasts about 70–80 minutes.
