ACUE courses or micros are offered online year-round.  The average time commitment per micro is 2-3 hours per week.  These micros teach practices that have been proven to increase student achievement in online and face-to-face classes and close equity gaps. The micro credentials are offered online over the course of the academic year. The average time commitment is 2-3 hours per week. These micro credentials prepare faculty with evidence-based teaching practices proven to increase student achievement and close equity gaps (https://acue.org/impact/efficacy-studies-report/).  Faculty who complete all four micro credentials will earn a nationally recognized Certificate in Effective College Instruction, the only college teaching credential endorsed by the American Council on Education (ACE).
This course prepares educators to use research-based practices shown to help students succeed.
