White Coat Society
Since the inception of the White Coat Society in 2018, $360,000 of scholarship support has been awarded to eighteen deserving students, helping to ease the financial burden and amount of student loans needed to complete medical school.
Members of the White Coat Society support the future of medicine at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine by providing scholarship aid to deserving medical students, enabling the Schmidt College of Medicine to attract the best and the brightest students.
Society members commit to a $20,000 gift, payable over four years. The $5,000 annual installment allows you to follow a medical student throughout his or her journey to becoming a medical doctor.

In 2014, I began my journey with White Coats-4-Care by donating two coats for incoming medical students. This simple act of giving, opened a door to a deeply fulfilling experience.
Inspired by my first experience, I decided to sponsor more students.
One of my sponsored students, wrote, “Receiving your donation proved to me that I am not alone, that people can and will help. Your support gives me the strength to give 120% every day.”
