White Coat Society
Members of the White Coat Society provide deserving medical students with scholarship support to ease the financial burden they face as they pursue their dreams of becoming doctors.
White Coat Society scholarships enable the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine to attract the best and brightest students. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership, campus or community activities and financial need.
With annual tuition and fees totaling $31,820 for in-state students and $67,961 for out-of-state students, 80% percent of our medical students rely on scholarships and loans to fulfill their calling as compassionate, skilled physicians.
As a White Coat Society member, your $20,000 gift pairs you with a deserving student whose journey you will follow from the time they receive their first white coat as a first-year medical student through their commencement. With your name tucked into the pocket of your student’s white coat, your generosity becomes part of their story—and part of the future of medicine.

$20,000 per student, payable over 4 years
Note: Pledges received after June 1st will match the donor with a student starting the following academic year.
I began my journey with the White Coat Society by donating two scholarships for incoming medical students. This simple act of giving opened a door to a deeply fulfilling experience. Inspired by my first experience, I decided to sponsor more students.
