25th Annual Research Symposium

Student Achievement Council's 25th Annual College of Education Research Symposium will be held virtually Thursday, April 16, 2026, 4 p.m.until 7 p.m.

This year’s theme is: Envisioning Tomorrow: Research that Shapes the Future.

  • In coming together to celebrate a quarter century of research within Florida Atlantic University’s College of Education, we look forward to both honoring our past and imagining what lies ahead. This milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on the transformative impact of educational research and to envision a more just, inclusive, and innovative future.

Call for Proposals

  • We invite both undergraduate and graduate students across the College of Education to share research that shapes the future of education. Proposals may address a wide range of topics connected to this year’s theme, including but not limited to equity and access, innovation in teaching and learning, community engagement, policy, and transformative leadership.

Submissions may include:

  • Completed research studies
  • Ongoing studies with preliminary findings
  • Literature reviews
  • Policy analyses
  • Conceptual or theoretical pieces
  • Thesis or dissertation research
  • Action learning
  • Capstone project papers
  • Any other original scholarly work

Submission Guidelines and Deadline

  • All presentations should follow the APA Style Manual, 7th Edition for references. Graduate and undergraduate students interested in presenting must submit proposals for review to the symposium committee.

Deadline for Submissions: Friday, February 6, 2026

  • Students whose proposals are accepted for presentation must attend the virtual symposium.
