Healing Arts Exhibit 2026 Application

Rules for Entry

Eligibility:

All entries must be original works of art of person submitting artwork. Entries are open to all currently enrolled FAU students.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Submissions will be received until (11:59PM) Sunday, March 1st, 2026
  • There is no entry fee.
  • Your entry acknowledges acceptance of the rules of this entry.
  • CAPS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdirected entries.
  • Application form must be completed by Sunday, March 1st, 2026 (link on our website). Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • Acceptable submissions include, but are not limited to: Drawings, Digital art, Photography, Painting, Printmaking, Sculptures, Mixed Media.
  • Artists must attach digital images that clearly represent the original piece of artwork and submit via online application form
  • Maximum number of submissions per artist is 3.
  • Submissions should be in JPEG format with a minimum of 75 dpi.
  • Please make sure to label the files with your first initial, last name, then the title of each artwork. For example, jsmith_title of piece1.jpg
  • Artwork will be selected by a CAPS committee based on application information and theme relevance. Artists will be informed via email by Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, if any of their submissions were accepted.
  • Do not mail or deliver original artwork until you get notified that your submission has been accepted.
  • If accepted, artists must drop off artwork ready to hang with appropriate framing, if applicable. Please note, if artwork is not framed and/or ready to hang we will not be able to display it Drop off dates are Thursday, March 12th - Friday, March 20th, 2026.
  • CAPS will make every attempt possible to contact the artist to pick up their artwork prior to next year’s exhibit. If artist does not respond in a timely fashion and does not pick up their artwork, CAPS will consider the artwork a donation. CAPS will not be able to ship or deliver the artwork.

The exhibition will only be open to the public during the opening reception on Thursday, March 26th, 2026 3-5 p.m.
