Class Descriptions

Dance Fusion:

Bust a move in this fun-filled, upbeat, blended dance class! Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned dancer, Dance Fusion allows you to work on your moves for anything from Salsa to Hip-hip, incorporating a variety of genres of music while building stamina and endurance. Come for an exciting approach to cardio in this high energy class!

Experience a Latin-based dance class that incorporates easy to learn movements for anyone and everyone! Using unique moves, high energy, and motivating music, participants can dance away their stress. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for the body and the mind!

A people-inspired dance fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning that tone and sculpt your body. In MixxedFit®, we work out to all genres of music (hip hop, top 40, rock and everything in between). Our choreography is simple, repetitive and easy to follow, which means you can naturally increase your level of intensity during your workout. You can focus on getting lost in the music rather than having to follow complicated dance steps.

Cardio & Strength

Boxing Bootcamp:

For those looking to fit both cardio and strength training into the same workout, this is the class for you! Boxing Bootcamp will incorporate heart pumping cardio kickboxing combos with muscle building, strength training intervals for a great, well-rounded workout!

Cardio Kickboxing:

Build stamina and improve coordination during this high-energy workout involving a series of choreographed punches and kicks! This class combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio moves for a total body workout.

Cardio Sculpt:

For those looking for a unique approach to strength training, Cardio Sculpt may just be the answer. This barre inspired class incorporates classic strength exercises with a twist, focusing on tempo rather than weight. Work out to the beat and have fun while doing so!

High-energy, indoor cycling will challenge your ideas about cardio, offering an enjoyable, music-based class that is fun for all levels! Through a mix of interval training, climbs, endurance rides and sprints, you’ll be sure to work up a sweat as you pedal along to the beat. Training on a bike makes this workout low-impact on the joints, but plenty challenging. Make this class as intense as you wish—it is YOUR ride!

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) includes a combination of short resistance and endurance training bursts, followed by recovery periods to give you the ultimate total body workout. This class integrates intense intervals, to help you get the most out of your time. But don’t worry! With plenty of exercise variations, this class is much more inclusive than the name may suggest.

Work against gravity and your own body’s resistance! This full body workout is delivered through suspension training equipment from TRX, developed to offer the ability to utilize the core through functional movements. It is a perfect mix of cardiovascular conditioning and strength all in one unique class.

Strength & Core

Core Strength:

Focus on your core strength and stability with this 30-minute express class. This class will challenge the way you think about core training and take you beyond your everyday setups. Exercises are designed to engage all the muscles of the core to improve posture, balance, and overall body function.

Lower Strength:

This class focuses on the major muscles of the lower body. Strengthen the legs, hips, glutes and core for 45-minutes of lower body centric exercises. Our instructor will guide you through a series of exercises such as squats, lunges and deadlifts in all different planes of motion to make your legs as strong as they can be!

Upper Strength:

This class focuses on the major muscles of the upper body. Target your chest, back, shoulders and arms in this 45-minute class. You’ll strengthen your upper body, as well as learn a few new movements along the way!

Total Strength:

Strength training isn’t just for the weight room. Total Strength is the ultimate full body workout designed to strengthen every muscle group, using a variety of equipment to keep you guessing at every class! Challenge yourself under the guidance of an instructor to lift heavier weights and feel stronger each class!

Dance Fusion:

Stretch & Mobility:

An all-levels class where you’ll be working on full body stretching and mobility. Improve your range of motion and decrease muscular stiffness in a relaxing environment to help you de-stress after a tough workout or day at the desk!

Restorative Yoga:

This relaxing and meditative class is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. In restorative yoga, students will allow their breath to travel and unblock certain parts of the body that are under stress and tension. Poses are held for about 2-5 minutes depending on the posture, in order to find a deep stretch. This class uses a variety of props, such as block and straps, to achieve a gentle stillness in each pose. All levels welcome!

Gentle Yoga:

Gentle Yoga focuses on a slow and steady pace. This class emphasizes the use of props and alignment to create a steady foundation. Gain an inner awareness of your body and how it moves through both seated and standing poses, while practicing mindful breathing and meditation.

All Levels Yoga:

All Levels Yoga takes students from movement to movement at a slower to moderate pace. This class is more physically demanding than Gentle Yoga, but allots more time to cuing and breaking down postures than Power Yoga. This relaxing and challenging workout is a combination of breathing, muscular strength and endurance, balance, coordination and other stress-management techniques.

Power Yoga:

Power Yoga is for those who want to incorporate more strength and endurance-based work into their flow. This class is similar to All Levels Yoga but will typically move at a quicker pace from movement to movement, or hold longer more challenging poses throughout the class. Designed for a more experienced participant, or someone who is looking to take their yoga practice to the next level.

*** Note: All difficulty levels are accommodating to beginners and all other levels. Interpretations of each style will differ between teacher to teacher, while keeping integrity to their specified difficulty level.
