Center for Peace, Justice and Human Rights (PJHR):
Undergraduate Minor / Undergraduate Certificate

FAU students in front of colorful abstract muralIMPORTANT TO KNOW!

In regards to the Undergraduate Minor and the Undergraduate Certificate, the certificate option is for non-degree seeking students. That is the only difference.

In order to declare the minor, students regardless of major/college must go through the College of Arts and Letters Advising Office to request that the PJHR minor be added to your degree program, since PJHR is administratively housed in Arts & Letters:

The easiest way to do this is to attend the College of Arts & Letters advising office’s virtual office hours chat and then ask the adviser to add the minor for you. There’s then a form they will process and some questions they will ask you. If you attend the virtual chat, you don’t need an appointment.

The other option is to make an advising appointment with the College of Arts and Letters Advising Office and ask during that appointment to add the minor to your degree program.
