David Stovall, Ph.D. currently works as a professor of African American Studies and Educational Policy Studies within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Stovall’s work is grounded in Critical Race Theory and investigates the racial climate within schools and communities. We look forward to his upcoming publication 'Born Out of Struggle: Critical Race Theory, School Creation, and the Politics of Interruption'.
