Unlock your potential through Florida Atlantic Honors opportunities, featuring small classes, faculty mentorship, and research experiences, with multiple college-specific and university-wide Honors options to fit your goals and passions. Students who meet certain criteria will receive an invitation to join an honors program of their choice after their acceptance to the University.

• The Wilkes Honors College, located on our Jupiter campus, offers a top-rated, all-honors experience within a close-knit residential community. Students benefit from small classes, world-class research, and unique internship opportunities.
   
• The University Honors Program offers special honors courses on our Boca Raton campus, along with connections to top-ranked faculty and special advising/registration.  This program requires a minimum of 19 credits of seminar classes and is open to students in all majors.  
  
  
• The Schmidt College of Medicine offers highly selective 7-8 year BS/MD programs, Med Direct (Boca Raton Campus) and Wilkes Medical Scholars (Jupiter Campus), with conditional admission, individualized education plans, and faculty support for a smooth transition.
  
  
• Honors in the Majors programs allow qualified upper-division students to engage in research or creative projects with faculty in select departments.
