Dr. Porcaro is an instructor who strives to tie research to clinical knowledge and decision-making. In all of her classes, she focuses on the importance of evidence-based practice – the use of research results, clinical knowledge, and client information to make the best clinical choices. Her research has also carefully followed this concept. Research interests include the following:
