Dr. Palina Prysmakova, Associate Professor in FAU's School of Public Administration

PJHR Affiliate Dr. Palina Prysmakova, Associate Professor in FAU's School of Public Administration, delivered the closing speech at the International Legal Conference  "Crimes Against Humanity and Recognition of Lukashenko as a Terrorist" held in Nuremberg, Germany this past Monday.

In her speech, Dr. Prysmakova called on those in attendance to remember that crimes against humanity in Belarus started well before 2020, and she argued that these crimes exhibit the features of genocide against the Belarusians as a protected group. She argued that there should be no statute of limitations on these cases, and all of these cases must be considered by a corresponding tribunal.
