FIGS @ FAU REGISTRATION INFORMATION

HOW TO REGISTER FOR YOUR FIRST-YEAR INTEREST GROUP (FIG)

  • Watch our video tutorial on how to register for your specific FIG Section by major. 
  • To register for your desired FIG, you must have a declared major in the specific college in which your FIG is located (i.e.: If a Pre-Business major, must choose a Business (BU) FIG). 
    • If you are undecided in your major, you can select a UN (Undecided) FIG.
    • If you are part of our Online University, select sections E01 or E02.
  • In order for you to register yourself for a FIG, you will need search for the FIG courses: SLS 1411.  See below for your college's specific Section Number (3-digit code).
  • ALL FIG Courses are 8-weeks long - August 16, 2025 - October 10, 2025.
