Registered to Vote? Important Details You Need to Know

The College of Social Work & Criminal Justice believes in the importance of free and democratic elections, including the right of each eligible voter to have access to the information they need to vote. That’s why we are offering the following important voting information: 

1.       The Primary Elections in Florida are on August 23, 2022.

2.       The General Election date is November 8, 2022.

3.       Make sure your voter registration is valid: Vote.org

4.       Vote through your county Supervisor of Elections office:

  1. Broward  
  2. Martin 
  3. Miami-Dade  
  4. Palm Beach  
  5. St. Lucie

If you plan to vote early or vote by mail, be sure to check the websites for your county supervisor of elections above to determine the appropriate dates and processes.

5.       For information on voting rights:

  1. Women’s League of Voters
  2. League of United Latin American Citizens 
  3. Rock the Vote (focusing on young voters) 
  4. Florida Rights Restoration Coalition (restoring rights for people with prior convictions)
  5. Southern Poverty Law Center (focusing on BIPOC voters)
